Côte du Rhône Blanc 2015
Château de Saint Cosme
The Saint Cosme Côtes du Rhône Blanc is sourced from limestone rich vineyard plots around the appellation of Gigondas: the Viognier from Tulette and the Marsanne from Violès. The brilliance of this white cuvée relies heavily on the terroir; The Picpoul and Clairette bring lift and freshness to the cuvée, while the Marsanne and Viognier add texture, as well as beautiful floral accents to the wine.
Tasting Notes
Bright lemon gold in color, the Saint Cosme Côtes du Rhône Blanc offers alluring aromas and flavors of licorice, banana, and toasted marshmallow. The well integrated acidity provides a fresh, lingering finish that is a perfect reflection the terroir.
Food Pairing
An ideal pairing with baked brie and apples or roasted chicken with rosemary.
